PROJECTS

Project | 01
Project | Vanity Mirror

This is a project where I applied the techniques learned through my academic career at Calhoun to create an assembly. It includes many different features such as revolves and weldments as seen below. I was able to showcase the molding by creating section views. The notes and templates are inspired by industry standards. Models and drawings completed in SolidWorks. Please see below for the complete drawing set!

Project | Gun Target

This is a custom-designed gun target based on requirements from a customer. By maintaining my design intent and utilizing multi-use design tools such as the Pairwise Comparison I was able to select the design seen here as the best options out of other possible concepts. Models and drawings completed in SolidWorks. Report can be viewed below as well.

Project | Bed Side Table

This is a project I am particularly proud of. The prompt was to develop a design not available on the current market that would help someone with a temporary disability. Market research was the first step in the design process to ensure my concept was unique which is because this is a bedside table that can fit any bed and be easily be positioned and repositioned by a singular person. This design is also suitable for carpeted floors which is unique.  I was then able to use a variety of techniques such as mirroring to ensure that the support part is symmetrical and creating sweeps so the pipe would have an accurate path to follow. Having accurate mating parts in the assembly was design critical as well so by evaluating and creating construction/reference geometry I was able to produce a manufacturable assembly. to create the design presented. Models and drawings completed in SolidWorks.
